This piece is a dual-self portrait, showing myself in a dreamlike state while another version of myself emerges from my hair. Man Ray’s Surrealist photographs were a large source of inspiration for this piece.

This piece won Third Place for Studio Art in the 2024 Loyola University Maryland Fine Arts Dept. Student Showcase, judged by resident artist Devin Allen.
