Cat’s Eye

When visiting the Rawlings Conservatory, I ran into a special furry friend - the resident cat, Mango. I created two paintings of Mango to focus on studying texture and color within the mediums of acrylic and pastel. My first painting is more illustrative and sticks closer to realism, while the second painting was an opportunity for me to play with texture, color, and abstraction.
